Technological advances in design and manufacturing made it possible for full-size red dot rifle optics to be reduced in size to fit pistols.

The latest member of Meprolight’s extensive family-line of electro-optical precision red dot sights is the Mepro microRDS. Designed as a primary pistol optic; it can also serve as a backup or a secondary CQB sight on rifles and shotguns. The small— durable yet lightweight— pistol optic features a 3.0 MOA red dot which allows for quick target acquisition. The energy-efficient sight is powered by a single CR2032 battery that can be changed when needed without removing the sight from the gun. The large sight window provides greater FOV with both eyes open in any lighting condition—day, low-light or nighttime.
