BROWNING XBOLT2 HUNTER COMPOSITE SPR

Tough and no-nonsense, the X-Bolt 2 Hunter Composite rifle is built to impress in the woods, mountains, and at the shooting range with features designed to maximize performance.

Like all X-Bolt 2 rifles, the Hunter Composite SPR is built on a receiver design with additional bolt guidance surface for smooth, fast cycling. The bolt features weight-saving spiral fluting and a comfortable handle knob.

A light, sporter contour barrel offers a great blend of accuracy and weight savings. It’s shorter than standard length barrels to be used with a suppressor. The muzzle is threaded 5/8″-24 to accept a wide variety of suppressors or muzzle devices. The action is bedded and the barrel is free floated for consistent accuracy.

The DLX Trigger is a three-lever design that offers zero creep, zero take-up, and zero overtravel performance and comes preset from the factory at 3.5 pounds.

The stand-out feature is, of course, the new Vari-Tech stock. This configurable stock makes it easy to adjust the comb height to dial-in the alignment between your eye and optics. Length of pull is adjusted internally with spacers for a solid, rattle-free feel. Even the grip angle can be changed by switching between the sporter and vertical grip modules. On the subject of grip, rubber overmolding on the gripping surfaces provides added security in all conditions. Coming in at 1-1/4″ thick, the new Inflex recoil pad enhances shooting comfort — something you’ll certainly notice when sending magnum rounds downrange.

When hunting, fractions of a second can determine success or failure. When fit to your dimensions, the Vari-Tech stock creates a rifle that feels like an extension of your body so you can get an accurate first shot off sooner and have faster, more accurate follow up shots.
